Weekly Photo Challenge: Create
Last Wednesday, I made all these origami cranes on a coach trip to Wales. It was a school trip with 30 children, and I was unwinding with these cranes. (Origami paper from Muji.) I always keep a pack of origami papers in my bag.
When I was putting the cranes on the grass in the front garden to photograph them this evening, my neighbour’s lovely girl, Ffion, came over and told me she loved them. I gave her a few after I’d taken the photos.
A few minutes later, she knocked on the door with 2 more kids. I gave them more cranes and other hand-made flowers.
This morning, I made some cards, and this was one of them.
I was also busy making some Thank You cards in the past few days, for friends who kindly supported with my fundraising last weekend.
These are some of the cards that I’ve created.
I don’t even mind showing you my embarrassing craft table.

I also keep a pack with me! Origami is a lovely way to connect with people, especially youngsters. I learned how to make origami cranes in Kindergarden and loved my teacher for it… And I have been folding ever since! It’s very meditative…
They are lovely!
Thank you again for your help re my gravatar.
hmmmmmmm
nice pictures
The best craft tables are always piled with treasures, never mess. BTW I took a card making course at Fleming College a few years ago. It included a session on making gift boxes from greeting cards. Hope this short link takes you there: http://wp.me/pMDBH-18s
I’m so embarrassed by my table. I’ve tried to invest in storage space and will get myself more organised. Thanks for your advice and your link.
That’s a craft table to be proud of!
I know — It can be quite liberating just let myself go! But sometimes I do have to tidy up a bit……….I’m getting better….
