Delightful British Mint Stamps: Entertainment

I blogged about my collection of British mint stamps yesterday. It’s like putting the first Malteser into Tilly’s your mouth. One Malteser is never enough. You desire is insatiable. Now I’ll let you have the first pack of my Maltesers.

As it’s the weekend, I’ve picked the Entertainment selection of my Royal Mail Mint Stamps to share with you. I hope they cheer you up.

  • The Beatles (I’ve also opened up this presentation pack to show you the details.)
  • Ian Fleming’s James Bond
  • Thunderbirds
  • Musicals
  • Magical Realms
  • The Magic Circle’s Centenary Magic!
  • Classic Album Covers
  • Classic ITV
  • Classic Carry On and Hammer Films

Would you like to see more of my mint stamp collections?

I’ve spent an evening sorting out their categories:

  • British Kings and Queens
  • Literature
  • War and Peace
  • Progress and invention
  • Sports
  • Transportation
  • British Isles and icons
  • Animals
  • So British people

The varieties and colours and styles surprise me too! When I look at some of them, they remind me of the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony: they are so British, with a great sense of humour. Thanks for your comment, and I’ll post more soon.

Thank you also for your not-so-technical blog. I love your youthful enthusiasm and tips for an unsophisticated, everyday folk like me!

Strangely, I only collect NEW stamps, most collectors collect old stamps. Britain is my new country (though not a citizen), and I’m trying to get to know this place a little bit better.
